• Oberursel U.III engine (24-32335) - 1/32

Oberursel U.III was a German twin-row rotary engine rated at approximately 160 hp, representing one of the most unusual and ambitious rotary engine designs of the First World War.

Based on a double-row configuration derived from earlier Oberursel engines, it was intended to deliver increased power while maintaining the compact characteristics of rotary designs.

In practice, the engine suffered from overheating and reliability issues, which limited its operational use.

Typical applications included:
• Fokker E.IV

The Oberursel U.III represents an experimental branch of rotary engine development, illustrating the limits of increasing power within this engine type.

Compatibility: This model represents a general configuration of the Oberursel U.III engine. Aircraft-specific details may differ.
