The Oberursel U.III was a 14-cylinder, two-row rotary engine producing about 160 hp (119 kW). Developed by Motorenfabrik Oberursel, it was a German design based on earlier Gnome twin-row concepts. Due to complexity and reliability issues, it was used only on a small number of aircraft during World War I.

The Oberursel U.III represented Germany’s attempt to produce more powerful rotary engines to compete with Allied designs.
